This policy explains what personal data ExamPrepIQ collects when you use examprepiq.com, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what you can ask us to do with it.
Privacy Policy
ExamPrepIQ is an online exam-practice platform operated from India and available at examprepiq.com. For the purposes of data-protection law we are the controller of the personal data described below.

We collect information you give us, and information generated as you use the service:
- Account details — your name, email address and profile photo, taken from the Google account you sign in with. If you verify a phone number, we hold that number.
- Billing details — your billing name and address where you provide one, the plans and coin packs you buy, the amounts, and the payment reference returned by our gateway. We never see or store your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN or bank credentials — those are collected directly by Razorpay on their own secure checkout.
- Practice activity — the questions you attempt, your answers, essays and speaking recordings, the scores and feedback our AI returns, and your progress and streak history.
- Technical data — device and browser information, IP address and log data needed to run the site securely and diagnose faults.
- Messages you send us — the content of support emails and in-app feedback.

We do not use your practice answers to advertise to you, and we do not sell them.
Payments on ExamPrepIQ are processed by Razorpay Software Private Limited. When you pay, you are taken to Razorpay's checkout and the card, UPI or bank details you enter there go to Razorpay, not to us. We receive back only the outcome of the payment — success or failure, the amount, and an order and payment reference — which we store so we can grant your access, show your order history and handle refund requests.
Razorpay processes that data as an independent controller under its own privacy policy and its obligations as a regulated payment aggregator.
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is limited to the people who need it to operate the service, and payment credentials never reach our systems at all. No system is perfectly secure, but we review these controls as the platform grows.
We keep your account and practice data for as long as your account exists, so your history and progress remain available to you. Records of payments are kept for as long as tax and accounting law in India requires, which is longer than the account itself. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data except for those records we are legally required to keep.
You may ask us to give you a copy of your personal data, correct it, export it, or delete it, and you may object to or ask us to restrict certain uses of it. To make a request, email support@examprepiq.com from the address on your account. We will respond within 30 days.
We use cookies and browser storage only to keep you signed in, remember your theme and preferences, and keep the service secure. We do not run third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
ExamPrepIQ is intended for candidates preparing for university-entrance and English-language exams. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us personal data, email us and we will remove it.
We may update this policy as the platform changes. When we do, we revise the "last updated" date below, and for significant changes we will tell you directly in the app or by email.
