This policy explains what personal data ExamPrepIQ collects when you use examprepiq.com, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what you can ask us to do with it.
Privacy Policy
ExamPrepIQ is an online exam-practice platform operated from India and available at examprepiq.com. For the purposes of data-protection law we are the controller of the personal data described below.

We collect information you give us, and information generated as you use the service:
- Account details — your name, email address and profile photo, taken from the Google account you sign in with. If you verify a phone number, we hold that number.
- Billing details — your billing name and address where you provide one, the plans and coin packs you buy, the amounts, and the payment reference returned by our gateway. We never see or store your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN or bank credentials — those are collected directly by Razorpay on their own secure checkout.
- Practice activity — the questions you attempt, your answers, essays and speaking recordings, the scores and feedback our AI returns, and your progress and streak history.
- Technical data — device and browser information, IP address and log data needed to run the site securely and diagnose faults.
- Usage and advertising measurement — if you allow optional cookies, which pages and features you use, the exams and sections you practise, when you start and complete a test, and events such as sign-up, purchase, errors and broken links. We use Google Analytics and Google Ads to understand site usage, attribute purchases to campaigns and improve our advertising. The data is keyed to a browser identifier and, once you sign in, to your internal account ID — never to your name, email or phone number, and never including your answers, essays or recordings.
- Messages you send us — the content of support emails and in-app feedback.

We do not use your practice answers to advertise to you, and we do not sell them.
Payments on ExamPrepIQ are processed by Razorpay Software Private Limited. When you pay, you are taken to Razorpay's checkout and the card, UPI or bank details you enter there go to Razorpay, not to us. We receive back only the outcome of the payment — success or failure, the amount, and an order and payment reference — which we store so we can grant your access, show your order history and handle refund requests.
Razorpay processes that data as an independent controller under its own privacy policy and its obligations as a regulated payment aggregator.
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is limited to the people who need it to operate the service, and payment credentials never reach our systems at all. No system is perfectly secure, but we review these controls as the platform grows.
We keep your account and practice data for as long as your account exists, so your history and progress remain available to you. Records of payments are kept for as long as tax and accounting law in India requires, which is longer than the account itself. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data except for those records we are legally required to keep.
You may ask us to give you a copy of your personal data, correct it, export it, or delete it, and you may object to or ask us to restrict certain uses of it. To make a request, email support@examprepiq.com from the address on your account. We will respond within 30 days.
We use necessary cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in, remember your theme and preferences, process payments and keep the service secure. These are required for the platform to work.
With your permission, we also use:
- Analytics storage — to understand how the website and practice tools are used through Google Analytics.
- Advertising storage and data — to measure Google Ads campaigns, build remarketing lists and personalise advertising where applicable.
Optional storage is denied until you make a choice. You can accept all optional uses, reject them, or choose analytics and advertising separately. You can change your decision at any time through the Privacy choices control shown on the website. Withholding or withdrawing consent does not prevent you from using ExamPrepIQ's core features.
When optional storage is denied, Google's Consent Mode can still send cookieless signals for aggregate measurement. These do not use analytics or advertising cookies, and we do not attach your account ID to them.
We do not send Google your answers, essays, speaking recordings, full payment details, email address or phone number for advertising, and we do not sell your personal information.
ExamPrepIQ is intended for candidates preparing for university-entrance and English-language exams. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us personal data, email us and we will remove it.
We may update this policy as the platform changes. When we do, we revise the "last updated" date below, and for significant changes we will tell you directly in the app or by email.
