What ExamPrepIQ provides for the LNAT

How you practise

Section A practice papers put 12 argumentative passages and 42 multiple-choice questions in front of you under the real 95-minute limit, marked against the answer key on submission with an explanation for each question. Section B gives you three prompts to choose from and 40 minutes to write a single argumentative essay; the essay is assessed by AI and returned with an indicative mark and feedback. The complete mock runs both sections in exam order and reveals a combined readiness report at the end.

Marking, feedback and readiness

How marking, feedback and readiness work

Universities use LNAT results in their own ways, alongside the rest of an application. ExamPrepIQ helps you prepare; it cannot predict or guarantee an admissions outcome.

  • Section A: answer-key marking with explanations

    Each answer is checked on submission. You see your score, the correct answer and a written explanation for every question, plus the skill tag it was testing.

  • Section B: AI mark with feedback

    Your essay is assessed by AI against the qualities the LNAT essay is read for — a clear position, a well-structured argument, use of evidence and clarity — and returned with an indicative mark and written feedback. It is a study aid, not a university's assessment.

    Because every Section A question carries a skill tag, the progress report shows accuracy per reasoning skill — not just an overall score — and how each is trending.

  • Exam readiness, explained

    Readiness is a score out of 100 that combines skill coverage, recent accuracy, recency and consistency, with a confidence level showing how much evidence sits behind it. It describes preparation, not a predicted test score.

    The report names the skill with the weakest recent evidence and offers a Concept Practice set or a timed Sprint to work on it.

  • Mock test summary

Is the LNAT practice free?

Yes, to start. Free Section A papers come with scoring and explanations, Concept Practice is open to every signed-in user, and phone verification credits a one-time bonus of coins for an AI-marked essay. The full question bank, complete mocks and progress tracking need a paid plan.

Is Section B essay feedback the same as a university's assessment?

No. In the real test, Section B is sent to universities unscored and each university reads it in its own way. ExamPrepIQ's indicative mark and feedback are produced by AI as a study aid to help you write a clearer, better-structured argument — they do not predict how any university will assess your essay.

Can ExamPrepIQ guarantee a law-school offer?

No. Universities interpret LNAT performance independently and alongside the rest of your application, and no practice platform can guarantee an admissions outcome. ExamPrepIQ is not affiliated with the LNAT Consortium or any university.

Are the papers timed like the real test?

Yes. Section A is 42 questions across 12 passages in 95 minutes, Section B is one essay in 40 minutes, and the complete mock runs both in order over 135 minutes.

What is Concept Practice?

The Section A question bank, browsable by the reasoning skill each question tests — identifying assumptions, drawing inferences, spotting flaws and so on. You can favourite questions, add notes, and run a rolling session on one skill.

What does the readiness score mean?

It is a 0–100 estimate of your preparation that combines skill coverage, recent accuracy, recency and consistency, shown with a confidence level. It describes preparation, not a predicted LNAT score.

When is the LNAT and how do I register?
